Cloud migration without downtime
We move you off a local server to Azure, Google Cloud or AWS — in stages, with backups somebody has actually restored, and with data that stops existing in three versions. We choose by your brief; we resell none of them.

When we will tell you not to migrate
The cloud does not pay off for every company. Three cases where we will tell you to stay put, even when it does not suit us financially:
Steady load on written-off hardware
If the server has run the same way for years, is paid for and somebody looks after it, the cloud will probably cost you more. We do the sum and say so.
Software that would need rewriting
Older production or accounting applications sometimes simply do not run in the cloud. Migrating would mean replacing the system — a different project and a different budget.
Data that cannot leave
Where a contract or a regulation keeps data with you, we build a hybrid — part in the cloud, the sensitive part at home. Not a move at any cost.

Do we have to move everything to the cloud?
No. Where data has to stay with you — because of contracts or production technology — we leave a hybrid setup. That decision comes out of the analysis, not before it.
How long does it take, and what does it do to operations?
It depends on the environment; typically weeks, not months. We migrate in stages and outside peak hours, aiming for zero minutes of planned downtime.
Which cloud will we end up on?
The one that fits your brief and your costs. We are not a reseller or certified partner of any of them, so we earn no commission on the choice.
What if it ends up costing more than our server?
Then we say so in the analysis and recommend staying. It happens with steady workloads on hardware that is already written off.
